#ArtsDialogue formed in March 2017 at a Youth Summit in Northern Ireland. In December 2017 Ami Yares took on the role as director of BuildaBridge.

We are incredibly grateful here at BuildaBridge International to partner with Beyond Skin and #ArtsDialogue. For almost twenty years, BuildaBridge has been using the transformative power of the arts to provide hope and healing for vulnerable populations around the world. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, BuildaBridge International has led programming and training in Haiti, Colombia, the Middle East, the United States and more. BuildaBridge International’s teaching artists facilitate powerful artmaking spaces with a trauma-informed model that provides a safe and nurturing space to strengthen self-efficacy and resilience. Joining #ArtsDialogue brings BuildaBridge International into a collaborative and supportive network of organizations and people focused on peacebuilding. WE HAVE MUCH WORK TO DO! I hope soon we can welcome #ArtsDialogue on American soil and help fuel the fires of social change and justice. These are exciting and meaningful times. Thank You. - Ami Yares. www.buildabridge.org
