Beyond Skin is participating in Localgiving’s Grow Your Tenner campaign. Beyond Skin will use funds raised through the campaign to deliver creative intercultural workshops to help nuture good mental health in communities.
"Almost half of young people in Northern Ireland have experienced a mental health problem. Northern Ireland has the highest suicide rate in Europe."
The campaign will match monthly donations by up to £10 for 6 months (after an initial 6 donations).
Beyond Skin is calling on people to help us gain extra funding through Localgiving’s Grow Your Tenner campaign.
Grow Your Tenner started on 11th December 2018 and will run until the match funding runs out (or 10th January 2019 - whichever comes first).
Local donors can support Beyond Skin by setting up a monthly donation during the campaign. After the first six monthly donations, the following six monthly donations will be doubled, by a maximum of £10 per donation. This means a gift of £10 a month, plus gift aid, would provide us with over £200 in funding
It has been an extremely challenging year for the community sector and our team have had to work extra hard to meet the needs of people in these unsettling times. As community and arts budgets shrink we invite you to help us make the difference and invest in our work. Beyond Skin have a small management team with a voluntary board of trustees. We have small overheads and our team of passionate freelance artists/facilitators work extremely hard using their gifts for the greater good. Beyond Skin CEO volunteers an average 15 hours per week.
