  • Jubilee Paintings by Afghan Artist At Risk

Dear Freinds

These paintings of The Queen are by an Afghan Artist at Risk who has worked with Beyond Skin.
We have been trying to get the artist and family (also musicians & visual artists) to Northern Ireland past 8 Months. Their visas submitted to UK Home Office September 2021.
The artist wanted to do something for the Jubilee whilst also saying to the world do not forget about us and Afghanistan.  The artist took great risk in painting these with Taliban doing door to door checks. Artist brother was killed last month.

The paintings will be going to auction as a fundraiser. Please sign up to our newsletter

We also seek ongoing support from Politicians and people with influence to get the family to Northern Ireland for urgent medical and trauma support. Support within the creative sector is ready to help them rebuild their lives.
Finally a call out to the creative sector. Music and creative expression is being crushed in Afghanistan on our watch. We need people to organise fundraisers to help musicians/artists at risk.
Concerts, donate a song, artwork etc. Please message Beyond Skin if you can help in any way.
