We are delighted to announce that this year, Beyond Skin is partnering with Under the Drum Festival.
8 & 9 AUGUST 2025
Under The Drum is a family-run, boutique festival in the Antrim Hills just 30 minutes from Belfast.
Hosted and organised by the Reade family at their farm, we hope to curate a carefully chosen selection of musicians, bands, DJs, artists and more to create a unique festival experience in Antrim.
Announced as artists in residence Mozhgan Heydari and Razieh Mirzaee
Mozhgan Heydari is a professional visual artist and graphic designer from Iran who came to Northern Ireland with her daughter (8ys) for safety.
Razieh Mirzaee is an Afghan visual artist who grew up in Iran and found her freedom in Northern Ireland where she has now set up her arts business Razie Art and studio funded by Beyond Skin donors.
Both women have escaped oppressive regimes to exercise their freedoms and rights as women and artists.
Beyond Skin is helping Mozhgan and Razieh with support from many friends in the arts, community and business sectors. The primary Beyond Skin funder supporting artists integration is Arts Council NI through lottery funding.
